Rugby players absorb sub-concussive impacts across every session. DHA - the primary Omega-3 fatty acid in brain tissue - is the structural material your brain uses to recover from those hits.

The average athlete's Omega-3 Index sits around 4–4.5%. The 8% threshold, established primarily in cardiovascular research and increasingly applied to neurological health, is met by fewer than 1% of athletes tested. Most collision sport athletes have never had their levels measured (Heileson et al. (2025)).
