The Rugby Dietitian is a trading name of Freney Health Pty Ltd (ABN 67 696 131 914). References to “The Rugby Dietitian”, “we”, “us”, and “our” throughout this Disclaimer refer to Freney Health Pty Ltd.

This Disclaimer applies to all content published by The Rugby Dietitian (“we”, “us”, “our”), including our website, social media channels, email communications, digital products, and any other materials published under The Rugby Dietitian or Gainline Nutrition brands.

Please read this Disclaimer carefully. By accessing or using our content, you acknowledge and accept the terms set out below.

1. General Information — Not Personal Advice

Content published on this website and across our channels is general educational information only. It does not constitute personalised nutrition, medical, or clinical advice.

Unless you are a current client receiving individual services from The Rugby Dietitian, all content we publish — including articles, social media posts, email newsletters, videos, guides, and resources — is provided for general educational and informational purposes only.

General content is not a substitute for:

Individualised assessment and advice from a qualified Accredited Practising Dietitian

Medical diagnosis or treatment from a qualified medical practitioner

Advice from other relevant health professionals (e.g., physiotherapist, sports physician, psychologist)

If you have a specific health concern, medical condition, or clinical question, consult a qualified professional directly before acting on any information you find here.

2. Individual Results Vary — No Guaranteed Outcomes

Any results, outcomes, case studies, or examples referenced in our content represent individual experiences. They are not a guarantee, promise, or prediction of what you will achieve.

Nutrition and performance outcomes depend on many individual factors including adherence, training load, health status, sleep, recovery, genetics, medications, and sport-specific demands. We do not guarantee any specific outcome from engaging our services or using our content.

3. Not Medical Advice or Diagnosis

Dietitians are allied health professionals, not medical practitioners. Our services and content are within the scope of nutrition and dietetics, not medicine.

Nothing on this website constitutes a medical diagnosis, a prescription or medication recommendation, or treatment for a medical condition.

Biomarker test interpretations (including Omega-3 Index results) provided through our services are nutrition-focused interpretations only — not medical diagnoses. If your results indicate a potential clinical concern, we will advise you to consult your GP or a relevant specialist.

In a medical emergency, call 000 immediately. Do not rely on nutrition content or advice in an emergency situation.

4. Use of Artificial Intelligence in Service Delivery

We use AI tools in our practice. This section explains what that means for clients and content users.

We use the following AI-powered tools to support service delivery:

Google Gemini (Google Workspace) — Consultation Support

We may use Gemini to assist with recording, transcribing, or summarising consultations. Gemini operates within our paid Google Workspace environment. Under Google’s enterprise commitments, client data processed through Google Workspace Gemini is not used to train Google’s AI models, is not reviewed by human reviewers outside our domain, and is subject to the same security standards as all Workspace data.

Client consent is obtained before any consultation is recorded. You may decline recording at any time.

Claude by Anthropic — Nutrition Analysis Support

We use Claude to assist with analysing meal plans and dietary data. When doing so, we apply data minimisation practices (using client reference codes rather than identifiers where possible) and enter only the minimum information necessary for the task.

All AI-generated analysis is reviewed by our qualified dietitian before being used in your care. AI tools support but do not replace professional clinical judgement.

AI Outputs Are Not Independent Advice

Content, analysis, or materials produced with AI assistance are reviewed and approved by our registered dietitian before being published or used in client care. AI-generated content should not be relied upon as independent professional advice. If you have questions about whether any content was AI-assisted, contact us directly.

5. Evidence-Based Content & Advertising Claims

We are committed to publishing content that is accurate, evidence-based, and consistent with current sports nutrition science. In accordance with the AHPRA Guidelines for Advertising a Regulated Health Service:

We do not make unsubstantiated therapeutic claims

We do not use before-and-after imagery in a misleading way

We do not use client testimonials in a manner that implies guaranteed outcomes

Claims about the effectiveness of nutrition interventions are based on acceptable evidence as defined by AHPRA

Nutrition science is a developing field. Recommendations may evolve as evidence changes. We aim to review and update our content regularly.

6. Scope of Practice

The Rugby Dietitian services are provided by an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) credentialled by Dietitians Australia. We practise within our defined scope. We do not provide medical diagnoses, psychology or counselling services, exercise prescription (beyond nutrition-exercise integration), or advice outside the scope of nutrition and dietetics. Where your needs extend beyond our scope, we will refer you to an appropriate professional.

7. Third-Party Content & Links

Our website and channels may link to or reference third-party websites, research, or resources. We are not responsible for the accuracy, content, or privacy practices of third-party sites. Any sponsored or affiliated content will be clearly identified as such.

8. International Users

This website is operated from Australia. Content is intended for Australian audiences unless otherwise stated. Dietary reference values, supplement regulations, and health guidance may differ between countries. International users should verify local regulatory requirements before acting on any content.

9. Limitation of Liability for Content Use

To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law, The Rugby Dietitian is not liable for any loss, damage, or harm arising from your use of or reliance on general content published on this website or our channels, including:

Decisions made based on general educational content not tailored to your individual circumstances

Adverse health outcomes from self-implementing nutrition changes without professional supervision

Technical errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information in published content

Errors in AI-assisted content that were not apparent upon professional review

These limitations do not affect your rights as a client under a direct service agreement, or your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
